Caleb Seong Jo is a U.S. Registered Piano Technician (RPT) with the Piano Technician Guild. With over twenty years of experience, Mr. Jo is well respected in the industry for his expertise in tuning, regulation, voicing, and rebuilding concert pianos.
He has tuned pianos for the SYMF and the Aspen Summer Music Festival, and beautifully restores antique Steinways. Mr. Jo began his career as a piano technician in Seoul, Korea and continued his education in the United States at the Western Iowa Technical College. Recognizing the importance of continuing education, Mr. Jo has attended over twenty Piano Technician Guild conventions and was invited to the Yamaha Piano Technical Academy and Steinway & Sons Technical Seminars. Currently, Mr. Jo is a Piano Technician at the University of Southern California (USC) Thornton School of Music.
